Agnes Home was founded in 2022 by Carrie, born from a lifelong love of art, beautiful interiors and the belief that original artwork should be accessible to everyone.
Creativity has always been at the heart of Carrie's life. After studying at art college, she built a successful career in marketing before moving into environmental consultancy, all while raising three children. Although life took her in different professional directions, her passion for art never faded.
When her youngest child finished school, Carrie made the decision to step away from her career. She spent the summer doing something she hadn't been able to do for many years – slowing down and making memories with her family. During that time, she realised it was finally the right moment to pursue the dream that had quietly been waiting in the background for years: finding and sharing beautiful, original art.
Art has always been part of Carrie's family story. Her mother and grandpa both being talented artists, and today that creative thread continues on through her own children. Growing up surrounded by paintings, sketchbooks and encouraging conversation instilled a deep appreciation for the character, emotion and craftsmanship that original artwork brings to a home.
Today, Carrie travels across Europe every month, exploring antique markets, brocantes, galleries and hidden corners in search of pieces that stop her in her tracks. She doesn't buy to fill a collection or follow trends. Every painting is chosen instinctively—because it has a story to tell, evokes a feeling, or simply speaks to her.

Our mission is simple: to make owning original art feel approachable rather than intimidating. We believe every home deserves pieces with soul and character, whether it's a small still life for a kitchen shelf or a statement landscape above the fireplace. Original art shouldn't be reserved for galleries or collectors—it should be enjoyed every day, in homes filled with life.
