Naked Oil on Canvas

Naked as the day they were born. My immediate thought when I saw this painting was that I just had to have it. The second thought was that, with the colours in the painting, it reminded me of a ring master and perhaps his trapeze artist at the circus... maybe their costumes were eaten by an elephant! Incredible how we all interpret art in different ways.

Small stitched area to gentleman's stomach (looks like an appendix scar). Does not detract from the quality of the painting.
